News of the week...
There was some good football this past weekend. I think I am rooting for the Giants this weekend. But, this is not my football site so I will stop all that talk for now. If you really want to read football stuff check out this site: www.whodeyfans.com
Andrea and I met with a new doctor today and we really liked him. He seemed like a good guy. I started off the meeting with a joke. He walked in and introduced him self and I said to him "I was hoping you could confirm if Andrea is really pregnant or not." (Which is hilarious because her belly is huge right now.) He thought it was funny and it was smooth sailing from then on out. I would post a picture of the belly in question but I have been forced to promise that I wouldn't.
It sounds like he will support everything we want to do and he came highly recommended.
Side note: One cool thing happened in the doctors office. I overheard another patient talking to the doctor in another room. He came right out of the room and called the hospital. He basically told the hospital that he was sending her right over and they needed to be ready. Then he looked at the patients mother (soon to be grandmother) and said, you are going to have grandbabies today. So that was cool.
Lastly, lets all take a moment to welcome Barb Hern (my grandmother) to the Internet. She is trying her hand at email and web surfing and I wish her all the best. Although she thinks by clicking the wrong button she can shut down the Internet for everyone, I have assured her that she probably won't mess anything up.

Countdown...
I have begun a countdown in my head. We have 9 weeks and 1 day left. The days of wondering if the baby is ok and maybe we felt her move are over. She is in there and she is a mover and shaker. It is one of the coolest things in the world to be able to push a little on Andrea's belly and have the little girl kick back at me.
The nursery is getting all set up. We still do not have a crib but it is on order and hopefully we get it early. I know Andrea has some showers coming up so I think she is excited for that also. We did already get some really cool presents. We got the car seat, high chair, bouncy seat, pack and play and Andrea's grandma got us a rocking chair. So it is awesome setting that stuff up.
In my last blog post I expressed my fear of Andy Griffith after my dream. I just want everyone to know who may be worried about that situation that it is under control. I have personal assurance from Grandpa Short (Andrea's Father's Father) that he will take care of old Andy Griffith. I have had no more nightmares about him.
Thanks Grandpa.
