Thoughts of the week

This post may seem random but hey these are more of my thoughts...

I hate waiting. I feel like we are doing all the things we are supposed to do but these days seem to drag on and on. What I mean is when is the baby going to come. The anticipation is getting rather large and I hear the horror stories about my life changing and no sleep and I am ready for it. It is like I am walking the pink mile to a great prize but the mile stretches into more like a marathon..

Death is sad. No matter who's death it is. But I do not understand why people get so torn up when celebrities and athletes die. It is no more tragic of a death then when any other person dies but people flock to it like it is somehow worse. Take for example people that have decided to put the Dale Earnhardt #3 with angel wings and a halo on their car. Most of these people have immediate family that has passed and they do not have a sticker of dear old Mom on the car. Why a dead race car driver who has no idea who you are? Athletes are not like artists, their work does not get better when they die. I would be willing to bet that 100% of the time it gets much worse. Speaking of art...

Art is cool. The statement alone coming from me is a pretty big deal. But, my friend David has been entering in an art competition online and the stuff he has submitted is pretty cool. I don't know anything about the techniques so I will just put the links here so you can see for your self. (if you do go to the site, leave a comment and tell kq2 he is a homo)

Slow news week...

my 10 thoughts:

1. The Bengals are not very good. (link)

2. The Buckeyes are good but let a game slip away. They should be playing for the national championship (again)

3. The Reds don't look to be making very many needed changes.

4. If Brian Kelley (University of Cincinnati football coach) gets the offer to coach at Michigan, he would be a moron not to take it.

5. My wife rocks (she took care of the leaves while I was at a bengals game)

6. Thanksgiving is the best holiday.

7. The 10th hole on the El Conquistador golf course in Puerto Rico might be the most fun hole in golf.

8. I am going to dominate the Turkey Bowl this year.

9. I have become a lucky person.

10. My dog Daisy is incredible.

My thoughts on the Baby...

Well, here she is:

The time is going by so slowly. But, I know that she is just as excited to meet me as I am her. She is kicking her mom constantly and I think what she is trying to say is she wants to play.

Which is good, because I can't wait to play with all those cool kids toys also. I mean LEGO, does it get any better.

Andrea and I are going over what names we like and don't like. I think it was much easier for me to pick a boys name than a girls name. I have been stuck on just one for months now. I would tell you but then you may not like it and make a face, or tell me you don't like it. Then I would get defensive and say something like "well it is not up to you" or try and defend it. And then it would just be awkward for a few minutes. Lets just not go there, you know me and if I like it, it is probably awesome. It is not something weird like Apple or LaQuinta or anything.

Andrea is doing well also, her belly has popped and is getting big. She is lucky though, it seems like it is just her belly growing and nothing else. I would post a picture of her on this but then she would probably kill me. So just picture a skinny girl with a big pregnant belly. Yeah that's it.

Me, I am busy, doing tons of work for tons of people. Same as always I guess.
